Moselle is situated east of St. Clair in Franklin County, Missouri. It was once a picturesque river town and a growing center of commerce. Hustle and bustle filled the air as livestock, grave, rails, brooms, tobacco, and other products were staged for shipping on the Frisco. The village disincorporated years ago and today, no business or industry remains. Some would call it a ghost town, but that is not accurate because quite a few people still make their home in Moselle.
